HECON Umrichtertechnik (HECON Converter Technology) can draw on three decades of experience in the field of power converter technology.

During this long period, numerous prototypes have been built and delivered. Most of these converters are still in operation today, some even running 24/7.

Our converter technology meanwhile has been expanded to include a modular design.
At its core, this design still consists of our reliable, long-time-tested technology of a completely autarkic converter with all necessary functions.
Due to their special design, the modules can be connected in parallel, enabling the implementation of any desired power output.

Our modular design can be equipped with the "Serviceplus" option. This option allows individual modules in a parallel configuration to be taken offline and removed from the overall assembly, ensuring that all other modules remain available to power the load and maintain operation in the event of a service operation.

The frequency range of our converter technology starts at approximately 25 Hz and now extends up to 2 MHz using the latest silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor technology, with power outputs in the single-digit megawatt range.
