Upgrading / overhaul

We modernize and overhaul converters / power converters, induction systems and individual system components. Every component is subjected to a detailed inspection, defective and obsolete components are replaced.

Among other things, the following areas are processed:

• Replacement of outdated or obsolete converter electronics
• Conversion to modern semiconductors
• Replacement of outdated control cabinets
• Addition of earth fault / crucible monitoring
• Replacement of defective or leaky water distributors / collectors
• Repair of water-cooled busbars
• Exchange of special control transformers
• Addition of additional monitoring (e.g. voltage-proof temperature monitoring on non-floating semiconductor cooling boxes)
