HECON Umrichtertechnik (HECON Converter Technology) can draw on three decades of experience in the field of power electronics and converter technology.

At the beginning of this long period, thyristor technology, which is still used today, was the market leader, but was gradually replaced by transistor technology.

HECON Umrichtertechnik (HECON Converter Technology) was one of the first suppliers of low-power grid feedback converters. Our rectifier design, which we call HSG Technology (HECON Sine Wave Gleichrichter / Rectifier), is characterized by a reduced switching rate compared to today's AFE (Active Front End) rectifier design.

Our converters are modular. These modules can be used individually or in parallel to achieve any desired power output.
The modules in such a parallel configuration can be individually deactivated and removed from the overall assembly, so that in the event of a service operation, all other modules are still available to power the load and operation can be maintained.
