We modernize and overhaul converters, induction systems and system components. Every component undergoes a thorough inspection, and defective or outdated components are replaced.
The two images below show a conversion from an outdated thyristor design (flat-bottomed and cable) to a more modern disc design in an AEG-Elotherm converter. Further services include:

• Replacement of outdated converter controllers
• Conversion to modern semiconductors
• Replacement of outdated control cabinets
• Addition of earth fault/crucible monitoring
• Replacement of defective or leaking water distributors/collectors
• Repair of water-cooled busbars
• Replacement of special control transformers
• Installation of additional monitoring (e.g., voltage-proof temperature monitoring on live semiconductor cooling devices)
